Travel Requirements
Due to the ongoing pandemic, travel is different this year, so do make sure that you are aware of both the entry requirements for your destination country, as well as the rules for returning to your place of residence. If you are visiting Spain from the UK, you need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken in the 3 days before you leave to go back to the UK. This applies even if you are fully vaccinated. See https://www.gov.uk/uk-border.../before-you-leave-for-the-uk for more details. If you are tested and the result is positive, you must self-isolate in your accommodation until you are contacted by local Spanish authorities. Contact times may vary and can take up to 72 hours. You may be able to stay in your existing accommodation or you may be required to transfer to a state hospital or other government-provided accommodation. You may have to fund accommodation until you are transferred. The nature of your accommodation may be different from that you had booked yourself and travellers in groups may be required to stay in different places. You can find further information at https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain/coronavirus and do make sure you sign up for alerts to our travel advice page, so that you are notified of any changes.
